Tagged by Kellie

Kellie tagged me a while ago and I had a hard time coming up with 7 things.

I guess the first would be that I actually dressed up for Halloween. Grandkids can get you to do most any thing. Don't tell them that or I am in real trouble! What Jessica didn't tell you was that Katie was afraid of me when she first came in the house. It took about 10 minutes before she quit hiding behind her mom every time I talked to her. After that we had a great time, and whenever anyone mentioned my red hair she had to tell them it was a wig. Her favorite thing is opening the door for the "customers", more commonly known as Trick or Treaters>

#2 I am paranoid about making people have to wait for me, anywhere, any time for anything. Dan might not agree as there are times on Sunday he has to wait a little. I guess when you've been married 31 years you mellow out together. I really have no problem waiting for others, go figure...
#3 This one makes me very sad, I can't play the piano any more. As soon as the eye's started changing it got harder and harder. Playing the piano in Primary was always my favorite calling.
#4 My least favorite calling is teaching Sunday School, Dan and I are currently teaching the 15-16 year old's. Great, great kids, I'm just not a teacher. I get quite testy when it's my turn to teach, just ask Dan, or any of my kids.
#5. My highest bowling game is a 272.
#6 When my kids were all in school I would always make cookies on rainy days and the first snowstorm of the year. This is one of those good habits that get ingrained in their heads and now they to want to do the same thing.
#7 Dan and I went to Brice Canyon for our honeymoon. We decided to come home a day early thinking that we could just sneak into our apartment and no one would know that we were home. We opened our door and there was my dad cleaning our carpet! Our bed was not moved in yet and couldn't be until the carpet was dry the next day. We spent the last night of our honeymoon sleeping in my parents tent trailer!!
There you have it, the sad part is that as soon as I post this I will think of a million, much more interesting random things...

It is pretty difficult coming up with random things that might interest anyone. I just did it too. Mine are way more lame than yours. You should feel good about that.

How come I don't remember the honeymoon/tent trailer incident? That's funny in a sad kind of way.

I'm right there with you on #2, which is why I prefer to do my shopping alone. I can go shopping with someone else and wait for them to browse or try on clothes, but I feel dumb making someone wait for me.

I don't remember the trailer incident either, which makes me think for some reason I never knew about that since it seems like such a memorable event.

I love all these random things, I think I learned 7 new things about you. That is so funny that Katie was afraid at first. I remember one year when Lex was 3 or 4 and Nate's dad dressed up as a pirate and she was terrified of him. You think that as soon as they would hear your voice they would realize the whole costume thing and relax!

Jess was right, you never even dressed up for us. I remember the fluorescent pink outfit and wig for a primary activity, but you never dressed up just to take us trick-or-treating. I need to learn the hold that girl has on you and use it for my own good! Love ya!

I learned some things about you I didn't know. And I don't remember the tent thing either. That is why I write everything down, cause my memory is way bad and always has been. I thought the costume was wonderful and I see a little of Jessica in you..

I forgot to mention that I love your costume. I wish I was brave enough to dress up and have fun, but I'm too self conscience of my body size.

Thanks Julie! I would have loved to have seen myself on a milk carton! Too bad! I talked with Kellie last night (text messaging) and she said that the wedding went well. You haven't posted anything in a long time, it's really sad! I don't know what is going on in the Murray family! Haha!
